Dark Side of the Doritos
Made from cut bags of the following 8 Doritos flavors:
Late Night Cheeseburger
Throwback Taco (Limited Edition)
Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch
Spicy Sweet Chili
There are a lot of Doritos flavors out there, perhaps too many. There is literally a flavor / package for each color used in the Dark Side of the Moon album cover design. So I thought it would be a fun project to try and make the album cover out of cut pieces from those bags.
If you'd like to make this yourself, here's what you'll need:
-At least 8 bags of Doritos, 8 different flavors.
(View the notes on the image above to see which bags / flavors I used for each section.)
-Exacto knife and scissors
-Super glue (to help keep the spectrum of colors together)
-Storage bags (to store the Doritos after you take them out of the original bags)
Cut off the sections from the bags that have the least amount of type / images.
Find a good chip.
Arrange pieces together until it resembles the Dark Side of the Moon cover.
Take a photo and show it to your friends.
Mar 4: New Yummy Doritos!!!
These Doritos are called "Sweet Chile Heat" in Canada, where we first encountered them while on vacation last year. They are awesome and I'm soooo glad I can get them here in the US now! I snagged the last 2 bags at the grocery store.
